Noodles to Needles

I wake to the smell of noodles.

it is early afternoon.

skies are grey, 

rain stopped by for a visit, I didn't answer the door.

Stupid phone.

woke me from a dream. 

I was laying in a pool 

of green and blue paint.

the colors did not blend. 

Knitters were blasting thier tunes.

Golden oldies of the soul.

As one they spoke my name aloud.

Vomit chicken

Bone splintering from the concrete they were throwing at my feet.

Blue and green 

Arise and smell the day.

bruises in hidden spaces

hidden from the prying eyes.
